Megan
Megan is one of my long term clients and has been with me about 10 months 🥰
When Megan first came to me, she had been inconsistent, lacked confidence and felt stagnant. Megan felt like she had no direction or motivation in the gym and was sick of feeling like she wasn’t strong. She wanted to improve her body composition, overall health and strength.
Megan and I have been working together to make her gym routine solid and consistent. She had done Crossfit in the past but never felt completely certain what to do at the gym solo. We developed a challenging plan for her in the gym and started to tune up her nutrition using macros.
When we hit rough patches in her training we were able to strategically change her plan to work into her lifestyle. When she struggled to hit her macro breakdown we adjusted the ratios to make it 𝗪𝐎𝐑𝐊 👏 𝐅𝐎𝐑 👏 𝐇𝐄𝐑 👏
Megan has worked so hard to improve her form and strength in all the compound lifts especially SQUATS. Having scar tissue in her hip she was always nervous to squat heavy BUT has gained confidence and increased her strength tenfold! She’s added 𝟓𝟎𝐥𝐛𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝐑𝐌 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭 😮
These pictures can show her physical progress but what these pictures don’t show is the work and dedication Megan puts in physically AND mentally. Megan is a hardworking SINGLE mom, works a 40 hour work week and still manages to meal prep, exercise 5x week, coach soccer AND get outdoors to be active.
Megan is an inspiration and continues to make amazing progress not only in strength training but also in self confidence 🤗
Katie
Meet Katie She is a young, event planning professional who loves dumplings, her nieces/nephews and traveling. I’ve known Katie for about 2 years and we’ve been working together consistently for about 11 months.
Katie came to me with a goal to compete in a Powerlifting meet but was super nervous about the whole process. She didn’t feel confident enough in her form, strength or programming to compete yet.
Katie was struggling with how to set up her workouts, how to progress in strength and how to perfect her form. She was traveling often and felt that her progress had stalled, which made her lose confidence in herself and her abilities. -
Now, Katie has been working out 3-4x a week for the past 11 months with a specific plan I designed to help not only fit her goal but also her lifestyle. She’s on the go, traveling for work multiple times a month but is still able to fit in our workouts.
Beyond her AMAZING strength gains, I have watched her slowly but surely bloom into a WAY more confident lifter and person. She came to me with some body insecurities and food preoccupation. By focusing on strength progressions and protein intake, Katie has been able to not only feel more confident in the gym but also in her everyday life!
Katie competed in her first Powerlifting meet in July 2019 and WON third in her weight class! She PR’ed in all 3 lifts and we 8/9 on her attempts. She also added 66lbs to her total.
After competing in July Katie has continued to work with me and will compete again in Powerlifting at the end of 2019. Her lifts have all improved form and strength wise. She is able to be more consistent, lift more efficiently and gain confidence in herself!
I am SO proud of Katie’s progress. I cannot wait to see her KILL IT at her meet second meet. Stay tuned — big things coming from this team!
Bri ⭐️
Meet Bri! She’s a 25 year old AML Analyst who loves traveling, outdoors, running and exploring NYC.
Before Bri came to me she was spending hours in the gym. The weights she was lifting weren’t changing and she did not feel she was getting any stronger. Her relationship with food felt very stressful and she knew she was eating way below her maintenance. She was afraid to stop tracking her food and change up her routine. She had problems with binge eating which put more of a strain on her relationship with food. She felt food was the enemy. She felt tired, lost and overwhelmed with the gym and her current nutrition habits and needed help.
When Bri came to me I knew she needed a big change, but we would have to take it in steps. I started her with macros but we ultimately eliminated that stressor by slowly becoming less and less strict with her guidelines. We focused on non-aesthetic goals. Giving Bri numbers and weights to work towards put the emphasis on performance and not appearance. She was able to overcome her under-eating and binges because food mattered as fuel now.
Bri is now super in-tune with her body’s hunger and satiety as well as her lifts and progressing in the gym. She was able to go on a week long vacation and not diet or restrict herself before, during or AFTER the vacation. Just enjoy, relax and then get back into her routine once she returned. Now that Bri has supplied her body with ample amounts of food she enjoys she is about to lift HEAVIER and enjoy life more without obsessing over calories. She now focuses on gaining strength and trying to lift progressively better every time she steps in the gym. She acknowledges that weight change is natural and should not be feared. She can focus on really improving inside the gym and enjoying outside of it!
Bri is honestly such an inspiring client of mine physically and mentally. She overcame her disordered eating and was ready and willing to dive into whatever I asked of her to make progress. I am extremely proud of all the hard work she’s put in and I am so excited to watch her continue to grow inside and out! 💖
Erin
Meet Erin! She’s a full time musical theater college student at Baldwin Wallace. She’s CRAZY talented and SUPER busy.
When Erin came to me she was struggling with motivation and consistency. She had not been working out and lacked the confidence in herself. She was SICK of the media telling her to get smaller, quieter and thinner.
Erin wanted to be stronger, feel badass in her body and build a solid gym routine.
Before we started working together Erin didn’t know how to structure her time at the gym. She struggled with sticking to a weight lifting routine. She was FED up being told to lose weight and do endless cardio. Erin wanted to build muscle and definition while improving her overall wellness mentally and physically.
Erin and I worked together to implement a solid weight lifting routine with minimal cardio. No hours on the treadmill or starving herself. She focuses on getting whole foods with lots of fruits, veggies and lean protein (with some bagels mixed in 🕺🏼) but she doesn’t feel restricted. Instead of focusing on how she looks we focus on how she feels. We do reflection on mood, body and how outlook can affect wellness.
Now she feels stronger and happier. Erin is way more confident in her abilities to crush it in the gym and fuel her body right. She doesn’t feel pressured to shrink herself or cut out food groups! She focuses on getting stronger and lifting more Erin can identify what she needs to work on and how to adjust her mindset to serve her. Doesn’t hurt that she also looks AND feels amazing too!
ANGIE
Meet Angie— She’s a young professional working in marketing who loves cats, reading and her hubby!
When Angie came to me she felt unmotivated, lost and frustrated! She had tried working out and tracking her nutrition on her own on and off for the past 4 years but never got the results she wanted.
Angie was unsure of what workouts to be doing in the gym, how to structure her nutrition plan around the foods she actually likes to eat and needed a supportive accountable person to help her. She was busy so she needed something that was efficient, sustainable and realistic to her current lifestyle.
Angie and I worked together to create a plan that worked around her busy schedule. I taught her how to fit the foods she loved into her nutrition, with a sustainable approach. We worked together to improve her mindset to support her goals mentally and physically.
By working together, Angie learned how to embrace fitness and health as a PART of her life and not a chore. She started practicing more yoga on her days off from lifting, cooks more regularly at home and has more energy after work to spend on other hobbies! Now that she has a set plan in place for fitness and nutrition she can make the most out of her time and feel confident in her body.
